Calder Holmes Park hosts a variety of events throughout the year, such as the annual Hebden Bridge Vintage Car weekend and bonfire night, as well as offering a green open space in which to relax by the canal, watching narrowboats slip by.
There are several points of access to Calder Holmes Park; via the Rochdale Canal towpath, a path way close to Hebden Bridge railway station and through the memorial gardens, adjacent to the Hebden Bridge Picture House, in the town centre.
