This climb starts in the 2014 Tour De France village of West Vale, the early stages of the climb are flat before ramping up to the village of Holywell Green; the climb then eases off slightly through Stainland and onto Sowood. At Sowood the climb kicks again before reaching Outlane. With an average gradient of 3.9% and a maximum gradient of 10.9% this is a hard climb. Climb status hard (Red) and (Cat 3).
